Water conservation is an important topic for maintenance and engineering departments, no matter what kind of business you are involved with. Look for my roundtable in the January 2013 edition of Maintenance Solutions as we talk with leaders from three different institutions from around the country to find out what works best for them. Also, please feel free to post your thoughts on water conservation, and what you as facility managers do save on costs and consumption.
Water conservation is one thing. Water use efficiency is another. Hope that you can cover both topics. I am certainly looking forward to the 'roundtable'. Be sure to check map-testing.com.
John, Thanks for your message and concerns. The roundtable will be included in our January issue, which is currently in the production stage. For your listening pleasure, here's a 5 Minutes With podcast, recorded this month, which focuses on water conservation: http://bit.ly/Vvj1ov
